Every account has its own treasury, in which players may deposit their items and crones for safe-keeping. The items you deposit in your treasury are available for every character of your account, which allows you to transfer items from one character to another.
Treasuries are located in every major town, and can be recognized on the map (M key) by the 
symbol.
